St Clement’s is a small, independent seafood restaurant tucked away in St Leonards-on-Sea.

We pride ourselves on making everything from scratch, starting with the freshly-baked soda bread complimentary at the start of your meal to the puddings and ice creams at the end.

Our menu

Our food showcases the area’s best produce by using traditional butchers, local farms, non-intensive dairies and local fishermen. Our ever-changing menu is dependent upon the daily catch from Hastings’ fleet of small, sustainable fishing boats.

“Well overdue date night led us to St Clement’s. We were met with a friendly greeting and led to our table. The setting was warm and relaxed.

The guys who run the place are lovely and clearly have a great love for the place.

The food was top notch, we had a delicious mackerel and chicken liver parfait for starters. Followed by steak and skate wing. Husband had the steak and he said it was one of the best he had ever tasted. My skate wing was also very tasty and you could really tell that care and effort had been put into the cooking.

To finish was the treacle tart and bread and butter ice cream which was outstanding. I think I'm going to dream about that pudding.
