Welcome to our much revised wine list.
Whilst retaining a few old favourites, the majority of the wines listed are new to St Clement’s and we hope our enthusiasm and excitement regarding these will enhance the enjoyment of your meal.
Many of the wines and grape varieties may be unfamiliar to you, but in selecting these we have carefully considered the food we serve at the restaurant, and believe provide interesting drinking throughout the list.
Fish features predominantly on our menu, so there is a natural bias towards white wines. However, several soft reds are also included which work extremely well with white fish when served cool. There are some terrific robust red wines listed too, as well as two distinct styles of rosé.
Also now list two delicious sparkling wines worthy of attention, and when the occasion demands, Champagne in four very contrasting styles.
Sweet wines are not ignored, and all are conveniently served in half bottles,
We are confident that all of these wines will provide pleasurable drinking and compliment our food perfectly. We would urge you to experiment and please let us know what you think. Several wines are available by the glass or 250ml pichet.
